Race Site location

The race begins and ends on 6th Avenue and 11th Street between the Library and City Square Park, in downtown Marion, Iowa.

The Course

The 5K (3.1 mile) course is flat and fast. Competitive and recreational runners alike will love this quick course through residential Marion. The course will be marked with signs and mile markers. Course marshals will be located throughout the route and major intersections will be covered by the Marion Police.

Timing mats will be located at the one mile and two mile marks of the course to allow for split times to be included into the race results.  Timers at each mile will call out times as participants pass that area.  A water stop will be located at the 1 ½ mile mark
